A guided art class where children explore different materials and techniques while creating their own artwork. Term Theme: Design your own Trading Card set! What happens when children become inventors, artists, storytellers and designers all at once? This term, our studio will become a place of imagination, experimentation and possibility as children create their own original trading cards from the theme to the final design. The artistic exploration of trading cards will be endless...will they sew? Sculpt? Paint? Utilise technology? Each week we will explore a different medium to create a mixed media trading card set. Rather than following instructions, children will become the creators. They will shape every part of the experience, making thoughtful decisions that reflect who they are. Every creation will be completely different because every child is. There is plenty more waiting to be discovered this term.
